Our Approach
At Express Speech Pathology, we proudly affirm neurodiversity and offer speech pathology services tailored to the needs of families in the Whitsundays. Our service area includes Proserpine, Cannonvale, Bowen and Collinsville. Our approach is rooted in the belief that meaningful expression flourishes through connection, which is why we focus on nurturing strong relationships with our clients. We are dedicated to supporting different communication styles, ensuring positive outcomes for everyone we serve.
Our Family
Express Speech Pathology was founded by senior speech pathologist Kelly Rodgers. With over twelve years of experience in the field and specialised training in Single Session Therapy, Kelly provides evidence-based support to our clients with communication differences. Kelly works with a range of children and adults with language difficulties, speech sound disorders, reading and writing challenges, stuttering concerns as well as difficulties with mealtimes.

Luke Holihan is our dedicated therapy assistant. Luke holds a Cert IV in Education Support and has completed extra training to support our literacy clients with Sounds-Write literacy intervention. He also has extra training and experience in assisting families with a range of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) systems. His commitment to education and effective communication enables him to make a meaningful impact on those he serves.

Assessment
If you are concerned about speech sound development, stuttering, language difficulties or swallowing/feeding issues, our assessment service can help. We offer both formal and informal assessment options that can be customised to your goals. We can provide assessments in a variety of settings, including your home, your child's school, or in our clinic space.
Our Single Session Therapy is all about providing the support you need, no more and no less. This service approach reduces the financial and time burden of ongoing therapy, while ensuring you get high-quality and personalised care. Term Therapy
If you're looking for regular support options for speech pathology intervention, our term-based program may be a good option for you. Our experienced team will work with you to develop a personalised program, delivered by our either our speech pathologist or therapy assistant. We offer flexibility in our programs to fit a variety of budgets, ensuring that you receive the support you need in a way that suits you.
